The Blog of the Holidays

This Christmas was just like the others. Nothing Happened, nothing ever happens during Christmas. But, this one was different from the rest considering the fact that we didn’t have ANY snow. But, it is snowing now [this was wrote on Sunday from 3:46 p.m. to whenever] and that is completely pointless considering the fact that our tree is no longer up and that, well I dunno any other reason than: IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE SNOWY ON CHRISTMAS. But, yes that is really the least of my worries, because as I’m sure the world knows, it is 2004. There are only 9 months until I get to become a full time college student. Which is very exciting because I will get to do things on my own. Which is very good. I dunno what I’m going to do though. I will have to do the following things on my own:
1) Get up on time [I do that, but with the help of an alarm clock and the snooze button, which I heard you are NEVER supposed to use.]
2) Wash my own clothes, but since you only have to put the money in the machine this will be fine. And yes, I do know that I have to separate the clothes [colored, jeans, delicates, whites, sheets, towels] SEE??? TOLD YOU SO!!!
3) I will have to have a roommate. This alone is very bothering, because of the fact that never once in my life have I shared a room with anyone.
4) I will have to resist the urge to go out to eat. This will be my downfall.
5) I will have to become more of an exercising girl. This plus 4, I will gain at least 30 lbs. By the time freshman year is over.
6) I will learn to be myself.
7) I will have to convince myself there is more to life than a library.
8) I will have to learn that I can be anyone I want to be. Which means I can finally show that I’m a lot smarter than what I seem to be.
9) I will have to make new friends, which is going to be shy, on the account that I’m one of the most shy people you will ever meet. [Unless you know me of course, then I’m a totally different person.]
10) I dunno anymore, and this was supposed to be about my vacation.

Okay, my vacation. It kinda rocked. But, on the account that I have the worse haircut ever, I didn’t read as much as I liked, I just learned that I can sleep in, but now must wake up on time, my cat barfed on my beloved sleeping bag, I fell for some guy on the internet, I actually celebrated the New Year, I had my share of giggles, Courtney and I had to be firefighters, I laughed at Stefan for the reason that he prolly had to get an electric wheelchair and/or bike for the 15 k. or miles he had to run, umm…I learned that Queer Eye is the best new show and I lub it, new words and phrases: superb, one moment please, and mobile phone were added to my vocab., the word Lub was introduced yet again, and my cat, Patches, has a new way to have his name pronounced: Patcheese [It just came about one day], umm…I received a microwave for college, umm…I had the biggest fight [not really] over these superb pink pants I bought, I was going to get Herbert a gf, but then decided against it, Umm…I have a new love for horror movies, and how fake they can get them, I can now recount almost ½ of the episodes of “I Love the 80s”, “I love the 80s Strikes Back” and “I love the 70s”, I cried over my horrible hair, umm…I met an old friend in a chat room. “Da_funk”. It was quite funny, umm…I met some guy that loved J.F.K. left him after I found out he was “quite” older than myself, umm…I received a new watch for Christmas only to lose a few days afterward, then only to find out I left it at my beloved Gram’s house after discussing my horrible haircut, umm…I’m not quite sure what else I did. But that was about it. Most of the things that are quite funny I must say that my friend Courtney and I discovered were quite fun. Oh…we also found out the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, and to our astonishment it wasn’t the Germans?? =( [Long story, if confused watch the movie “Animal House” don’t know what it was about, but stayed content to watch that one part], have a new name for myself instead of fat: Pudgy. I lub that word, umm…stayed up till 4:30 in the morning on New Years talking to someone, that I was quite astonished by, umm…then feel asleep woke up at 10 a.m and went home, only to sleep from 2-5, then finding out what all teenagers are supposed to upon entering teenage life: Sleep=sweet goodness. Yes, people I’m 17 and just found out that when all else fails sleep. Sad, huh. I just used to read. It is quite crazy. Umm…tried to look up someone’s e.mail only to find that on the internet they don’t exist, but then I found out… “Hollie I’m sorry to say this, but this person just isn’t for you.” I didn’t make any real new friends, but I hope that I made some internet friends, oh was going to get to dye my hair, but couldn’t oh well…until I’m 18, umm…found out that maybe I should actually try this year, you will never know until you try, found out that if I really want to I can watch a football game, and get into [yes, I yelled at the television], umm…want to learn more about Spanish, I really want to be fuelent. [Found out, for most of the words I spell, even the spell check can’t help me in most cases. {very sad, and appealing at the same time}]. Umm…can’t think of very much more, even though it was at the tip of my tongue. Umm…oh yes…this is very not like me, but I have an odd lub for the only and only Justin Timberlake. Do not want him, but would enjoy meeting him. Umm…found out that my wonderful 50 Cent got arrested for possession on New Year’s Eve. That was very funny, because I found out my brother watches something more than ESPN. Oh…D.Y.K?? NBA is pronounced: “Naba” yes “Naba” I think I shall name my dog Naba. Just because that is one of the best names ever. And WNBA “Wa-Naba” The “w” is pronounced “Wa” or something…just ask me about it. Umm…oh yes…never mix: pencils, bubble mix, bugs, wax, umm…and other things, cause chances are you will never be able to get it out, unless you cut of the air. It was a very traumatizing moment in my life. Anyway…I supose I have bored you enough. And “Gym” class is approaching rapidly. I’m very exciting. Until then.

“It has been a great holiday, now that I look back on it. Even though my highlight was playing “Win, Lose or Draw” that was something."
